Royal Canin Veterinary - Diabetic DS37 is a complete food for dogs over 1 year old suffering from diabetes. Diabetes is a really common problem in dogs and should be urgently treats when the first systems appear: thirstiness, increased appetite while losing weight and urinating more frequently. Diabetic dogs can be very effectively treated with a combination of insulin therapy and Royal Canin Veterinary - Diabetic DS37. The composition of this special diet feed makes it easier to control blood sugar and through the reduced starch content can help with losing weight. The high protein content helps to maintain muscle mass during a time of weight loss.

Diabetes mellitus promotes oxidative stress, which can lead to chronic complications. A high level of antioxidants helps combat this. A synergistic antioxidant complex of vitamin C, vitamin E, lutein and taurine helps to neutralize free radicals and provides active cell protection.
