DESCRIPTION

URINARY S/O is a complete dietetic feed for dogs formulated to dissolve struvite stones and reduce their recurrence through its urine acidifying properties, a low level of magnesium and a restricted level of protein, but of high quality.

Indications:

• Dissolution of struvite crystals and stones
• Bacterial cystitis
• Prophylaxis of calcium oxalate stones
• Prophylaxis of struvite stones

Contraindications:

• Chronic renal failure, metabolic acidosis
• Heart failure
• Hyperlipidemie
• Pancreatitis
• Parallel use of urine acidifying medication
• Pregnant or lactating bitches

Changing your pet's diet and length of treatment:

Your pet will need to stay on this diet for 5 to 12 weeks, or until the stones are dissolved. If your pet is suffering from a bladder infection it should stay on this diet for at least a month after diagnosis.

Further information:

Please ensure that during its illness your pet is fed only with URINARY S/O, otherwise the effectiveness of this product may be reduced.

Ingredients:

Rice, corn flour, animal fat, poultry protein (dried), corn gluten, minerals, animal protein (hydrolysed), vegetable fibres, soya oil, fish oil, fructo-oligosaccharides, mono- and diglyceride of palmitic acid and stearic acid esterified with citric acid, marigold extract (source of lutein).

Protein sources: dried poultry protein and hydrolysed animal protein.

Additives per kg:
Vitamin A (15,500 IU), vitamin D3 (1000 IU), iron (44mg), iodine (4.4mg), copper (13mg), manganese (57mg), zinc (147mg), selenium (0.06mg), sulphur (0.5%).
Urine acidifying ingredients: calcium sulphate (0.88%).
Preservatives: antioxidants.
